Well, we finally got Pebbles and Kendall settled into their new home and low and behold the horses are convinced that they are horse eating llamas. My 4 beautiful, brave horses are now reduced to quivering equines that will not pass the paddock gate to the barn. It is quite funny really. The llamas are mystified as to what they are afraid of and just go about their business of eating grass and hay and lounging in their stall area. The horses however, know that they are fire breathing monsters and that they now cannot get to their stall safely. I am sure that they will soon figure out that they are wrong and will feel very silly about their plight later. Until then, however, feeding them is quite a challenge. Since we normally feed the horses twice a day in their stalls, that they will not get close too for now. Will update on our progress with the big chickens in the pasture.

Our big chickens are now coming and going to the bar without hesitation. Thank goodness, they finally realize that the llamas are not fire-breathing, nor horse eating monsters. All is well on Just Another Critter Farm again.
