Hi Lisa! I pretty much agree with what Emaly has already said! I do want to add that a lot of what determines if you llamas will stand still during shearing or not has to do with how much they are handled and how comfortable they will be with the s…

Hi! I really appreciate your offer! I grew up on a cattle ranch in Nevada and moved to Montana 7 years ago. My mother (Diana Blair) who is a member here also, started with llamas several years ago and has a fiber mill here in Kalispell. Since we have just begun we have had the opportunity for a gentleman in our area who is head of a llama pack outfit to come and give out group a pack demonstration. This upcoming spring he has offered to take us on a day hike! Another one of our leaders is Kori Gallagher (a member as well) has been helping out with various activities including our upcoming St. Patrick's Day Parade. Your pictures are great!! I'll definitely be in touch! Thanks again!

Hi Cathy,
I want to thank you for sending those pictures, that is about the only way we will get to see what it is like out west. I don't think you could not have a better job than working with the llamas. We are so happy for you.
Yes, Fortune 500 (aka Cookie) did well at the shows. We bred her last fall, we think she took but we will have to check her again.
Keep in touch and take care....will be waiting on more exciting pictures from you.....Fred & Renee

Hi! Thank you, I still miss him so much. Loosing him was really hard.

I am so very sorry to hear about your llama in 2006.

I hope all is well with you. It must be really cold up there. We are having a cold snap down here, and only the llamas are happy about it. lol

Thanks Cathy! We are having a blast with the llamas. They seem to be having a good time to. I love their willing attitudes about learning new things and working with the kids. Where is the ranch where you will be working? Sounds neat. Vickie

Awe thanks. Well Things are great. Reinert is being gelded Tuesday and next weekend we are bringing in two more rescues..........females. Sweet little Reinert needed friends of his own kind and the Southeastern Llama Rescue had a need to place a couple of females that needed to go together sooooooooooooooooooooooooo..... here we go. I love your pictures too. I really want to get these guys to a point where we can take them along on hikes and visits to the local parks. Lots to learn for all of us though.

I am a new Llama owner. I rescued a Llama locally and am now infatuated with them. I love the idea of packing with them and I'm doing all the research I can on them now. You look like you really enjoy them.

Hi!
Things are going well. Yes, with school I have not been able to attend many llama shows either. Our last one was a year ago. However, this spring we are expecting our first cria. I am very excited / nervous. Have you ever had crias at your farm?
