Welcome, to Just Another Critter Farm

The horses are finally coming to terms with the llamas. The first 2 days were crazy. My horses just knew that they were going to be devoured by the fire-breathing llamas. Now, however, they are doing better. We can get them to the barn, and they are standing in their stalls to eat without taking the barn down. I know eventually they will all be one big happy family.

Well, we finally got Pebbles and Kendall settled into their new home and low and behold the horses are convinced that they are horse eating llamas. My 4 beautiful, brave horses are now reduced to quivering equines that will not pass the paddock gate to the barn. It is quite funny really. The llamas are mystified as to what they are afraid of and just go about their business of eating grass and hay and lounging in their stall area. My daughter took our girl Pebbles to her first show and county fair. They took Reserve Grand Champion in halter and showmanship out of 7 in each class. A mixture of young and older llamas. I do not think that is bad for her first showing. I am proud of my girls.
