Welcome to Lama Journal and thanks for the comments on the photos! We put sand in all of our barns and soak it down twice a day to help keep the llamas cool - we live in Texas so they need all the help they can get to stay comfortable. Occasionally, they will go lay in the extra sand outside. One thing about sand though is that you have to get it all blown out before shearing or you will quickly dull your blades. As for Bon Fire, he is a great guy and is so stretchy. He is one of our suri junior herdsires! Cute llama in the costume on your website!
