One of the latest products that I really like is called Silk 'n Suri grooming spray by Llama Show Tack. It's used as a pre-wash and does a great job of loosening debris and preventing breaks and damage to the fiber. I bought it on-line through Qulaity Llama Products.

Hi! I produce the grooming spray product. I have changed the name (and tweeked the formula slightly). It is now called: BLOWN AWAY Grooming Spray. I'm very pleased to hear that you like it. It took almost 2 years to get it right. I think it works great. I would not groom without it. Thank you for your post! Alaine

Hi! I just go through their fiber,and pull the locks apart, picking debris out of their fiber. It works well for me and doesn't cost anything.
