Yes, yes, yes, they do. If anyone would like, as a former national tv talent and producer, I have made some deals for two national series about alpacas and llamas....but need considerable help, can't do it alone. We have tested many large regional markets and smaller county-wide markets found what works very well in each and know how to do it, and what is needed.
Marilyn, I have found video clips to be a tremendous help in selling my llamas. It is helpful for prospective buyers to see your llamas in motion.
I have video clips on my website, and I have them on "Twin Lakes" Facebook page. I also have many on this site as well.
On Facebook there is a page called "llama marketing group" that was put up by Jacob Mumford. On that site I have a video I made called "Adult Suri Breeding Males for Sale". I have sold two of my males from my video on that site. Although they are not on television they get quite a few hits.
I plan to put more on Twin Lakes website soon. They need to be put on in smaller sizes so they load fast and can be viewed by those with slower connections.
I think you will begin to see more people doing this. It is quite easy. I have a Mac and it has what is called I-Movie. Easy as pie. There are other applications for all computers. Easy to buy and install, and you can make your own.
