Lama Journal Gets A Facelift

Thank you for using Lama Journal. Lama Journal was initially setup as a test run to see if it could sustain itself with enough users within 3-6 months. It has successfully retained enough active users over the past 13 months to encourage further development of the site and increase its features. This is where we would like some feedback, suggestions, and ideas. Let us know what you do like and what you do not like.

Lama Journal is currently hosted on a platform called NING. NING allowed us to create this environment very quickly to speed up site creation for our test operation. In 2010, we will be developing our own platform which will be hosted on our own servers. This will reduce overhead cost and provide more control of the site.

On our built platform, we will have much more control over the features that we provide to our users. For Example:

We can provide Facebook integration with our system, which will allow users to post to their Facebook and Lama Journal at the same time.


Yahoo will also be available to our users to communicate with.
