Does anyone have the results from the Northwind Auction last Sunday? I watched part of it online, but other commitments made it impossible to sit by the computer all afternoon. Thanks, Emaly
Emaly:
Bob's sale certainly had it's highs and lows. There were some problems with the internet connection so we lost the web cast at times, which was very unfortunate as there were a lot of folks watching and bidding on the net. The 55 lots that were sold averaged about $1,700. Rainman sold for $9,400 and Amberina's Twenty-One sold to Steffels for $5,000 - those were the top two prices on males. There was an outstanding young male sired by Rainman and out of Essenza - he brought $3,400 and sold to Michael West - he will be heard from in the future.
The top female prices were Sheer Delite at $7,000, Tootsie at $5,000, Essenza at $4,900 and Madagascar at $4,000. The top consignment female was Lisa Saunder's Bradford Spicey Hot at $3,900. She had an awesome little boy at her side. Lew and Jennifer McGinnis were good buyers of the top end animals and there were many bargains at the sale.

Darrell, thanks for the kind comments about Mocha Latte. It was hard to give up both of them, but I know the Ollendecks [sp] will do well by them. I hope Mocha continues to look great and shows well for them.
