Event Description

Iowa Statewide Youth Llama Show will be held at the Hardin Co. Fair Grounds on June 28, 2009. Exhibitors meeting will be at 8:30A.M. Showing will start at 9A.M. This years judges are Nick Hauptly and Cassie Miller. I am excited to announce that Statewide Youth has added two new classes. There will be a pack and public relations class this year. The packs will be provided for the pack class. You are welcome to bring your own pack if you want, but it is not required. No llamas are allowed to carry weight in the packs. In the Public Relations course there will be obstacles that you might run into when you are taking your llama to the nursing home, school, or parades. Summer Llamafest Show will start after Statewide Youth Show. Adults and children may show at Summer Llamafest. So come and enjoy the fun.

Statewide Youth is having a food booth open all day. There will be breakfast and lunch items. All the proceeds go to the Statewide Youth Show.
